roanoke trip
energizing with a peanut butter sandwich.
baby-wrangling while we get ready for airport.
after spending the morning in his garden digging for potatoes, pulling carrots and raking dirt, i am completely enamored with uncle scott. especially after he lugged out the tilling machine to show me!
want a potato?
a grrrrrreat lunch date with gigi
the rare shot of my favorite firedog, elle. (she is terrified of the camera.)
i watered the plants when no one was looking....
the new baby whisperers...and they slept all night!
my little bro watching me play with the marble run
and my new bike!!!
thank you for everything! (especially for mom's massage, workout and pedi. she is still a bit relaxed even though ben is now screaming in his crib, she had to pick up jack and i am hanging on her leg whining to go back outside since she started typing this. no joke.)
big bro
this is how the little bros watch me play. all day. and drool over my cars, trucks, trains, planes and other toys.
sometimes mom makes me share. she thinks of it as a crawling incentive.
but this will be the problem one day. no one messes with my thomas and friends.

very busy here
jack and mom walking in the rain...ahhhh, the rain. so refreshing after a hot month.
we stop at this sandy spot almost every day. extra fun when i have my excavator out.
this week, i want to be a construction worker when i grow up. after *shocking* a policeman and a firefighter!
busting a move at faneuil hall.
my bros are 5 months (!!!) today. i guess they are here to stay. ben is pretty active.
most of the time.
i help them learn and play a lot. they are my toys after all
i was a little afraid of all the geese on the harborwalk. and mom rolled the stroller in goose poop which i found hilarious.
jack still loves this playnat. maybe he needs to learn to roll one day. mom does not like when i teach him that.
and mom is trying to resist his desire for a blankie...so he cuddles with his bibs, shirts, socks etc.
i hung out on a duck boat at the children's festival out back this weekend. but would not go anywhere near that crazy duck...

lake canobie park
how to go from this very early in the morning to...
..this:
this...
and this, very ealr in the night?!!!
why load up the (rented) vinnie-van and head to lake canobie park!
me and dad on the flume
and my own water ride...
daddy wrangling the babies. so wonderfully behaved while i ran all over with mommy. (and the babies were good too! )
mom and i joy-riding
and on the wettest water ride ever!!! (back left)
we got soaked! thank goodness mom took off my shirt and kept it dry. it was really nice having something dry to put on after this splash.
did we?
it's stylish,...
..roomy and practical.
butt, still a mini-van
(and still a rental. although two weeks in a row....)

fun times in albany
uncle vic getting us ready for the big party.
balloons - easiest baby entertainment ever.
cousin jenn and i about to dive into the cake. i ate lots of frosting and one strawberry.
mom actually enforced time-outs. big meanie.
a rare hug for the birthday boy! hope you had a happy birthday cheeta!
and one tired "lady" after going on double-baby duty the night before...but she's still snugglin'!
mom's wonderful rested feeling is already a memory however, after my antics at the playground today. again.

things i taught mom this summer
twin infants? waaaaaay easier than 3-year old singleton matty
preschool should be a 40-hour-a-week, all-year cirriculum
the extra large glass of pinot drunk out of frustration with me after i go to bed ensures a headache when i wake by dawn and behave even worse the next day
matty - 487
mommy - 0
