it's snowing.
forgot how busy toddlers are. i spend all my energy trying to tucker them out...
after a frightful halloween party on sunday, ben would not part with his box of popcorn. for an hour sea gulls circled overhead but they did not get lucky. he ate the entire box.
jack led us onto the same beach we visited in just diapers a couple of weeks ago.
this was all after trying to get a certain almost-five year old to cooperate for a photo with his grandparents.
it turned out great. can't believe he is going to be 5.
the day before we took them to elm bank to let the kids burn off some energy.
thank gosh there were two large dump trucks and matty was feeling generous.

seriously, 5??
we have been enjoying fall and the nice weather. ben likes to collect leaves. he will carry the same one around the whole time
i actually drove to matty's science class last week. it is a 4 minute walk. but it was pouring out. and while we waited for him, i let these guys out of the carseats. buttons, lights, knobs...it was like disney world. only closer.
ooh, the light...
and when the big one came out...we ended up spending the afternoon in the linx parking lot!
and a couple of weeks ago we took our annual trek to spooky-town. ben was really tired on the walk back to the car. (he is always eating. well, snacking...doesn't eat so well.)
before that we stopped at one of the elementary school fairs. it was great. especially watching this guy dance. one day i will load the great videos i take...
and uncle vic came down for a visit. like their big brother, these guys chased him all over.
he even bathed them and settled them down!
this was matty waiting for uncle vic. but he is as impatient as his dad, and bored quickly.
we are gearing up for matthew-birthday-weekend! i truly can not believe he is five. especially since he acts like he is three.
