what a year! even matty realizes all we have:

(a great improvement over last year's "i am thankful for trucks")

jack and ben were very thankful for the banquet table we set up, and mom for the entertainment it provided for an hour 

 jack was jealous matty got to help with dinner... 

 ..and i know why. yummmm! (thankful for brining)

and thank you to our grandmas. mema sent a beautiful turkey cake and gigi sent new christmas jammies. makes us feel not quite so far from our families.

after our saturday morning napfest..

..we headed to patriot place where the stadium was open for a high school game, so we went!

 this will cost us what, 2 grand in a few years?

matty then played the part of "good boy" when he heard his lunch came with a sundae. i do not know what's scarier, his "good" face or the fact it only lasted 1 minute.

 then we had a big fight over the free frisbee from the parking garage.

 then we had the big show..

i do not know why i think the babies eating is so interesting. maybe because they actually get to sit at table and eat. i do not know how to mute a video, so pardon my babbles. i talk to these guys (myself) like this all day.

here is my monster in the morning who refused to stop climbing on the diaper table. and then crying bc he can not get down.

 this scene is usually reversed...oddly, i have no pictures depicting the true pain to feed.

B did pass out in chair about 2 minutes later. the beginning of our first illness this winter

been busy

mom feels pretty brave when she takes us all to the children's museum. we just think it's just pretty stupid. they should really serve wine in the lunch cafe...

 ben had fun with the mirror. for 20 minutes.  

 while jack cleaned off some bristle blocks.

afterwards, matty burned off chocolate milk with a dance on the outdoor stage.

 we transformed matt's room into "the boys room" this weekend, so lots of packing up and subsequent fun with boxes. yes, matt is holding painters tape. another not-so-brilliant idea of moms...

 (quick parenting tip: they can not get out!)

 these babies love some bath time. this is after their bath when the water is running for matt's.

then during matty's bath.

 then when mom gates them out of bathroom. they are both howling.

 ben will give up after a couple of minutes, but jack cries until it's over.

the "purple john deere party"

i think we nailed his idea! he had so much fun and talked all day about his party, his presents and when everyone is coming back (and who flies to boston and who drives and who came first and what kind of car everyone has and who has curly hair and on and on. not sure from where he gets that nonstop-chatter-gene.)
