this mother has had a great month!
for one, i don't lug the stroller everywhere these days. jack and ben are growing walking legs.
or scootering. these guys can scoot. once i figure our how to get iphone videos onto computer, i will post here...
we even dragged the scooters to our old 'hood to meet some friends. and of course visit our favorite neighborhood tree.
my vow to not the kids play with my new phone lasted 4 days. i really, really, really did not want jack to fall asleep on way home from circus at 8:30 because....
..it was first night in their new beds. super timing, yes. this has not been easy. even after an afternoon in boston and an evening at the circus they bounced around for almost two hours!
a couple of weeks in and they still pry off the door knob lock, then smash through the gate. last night i peeked in and they were on top of the furniture. trying to turn on the lamp. i don't believe there are little kids who "just go to bed." so stop telling me about them.
this is matt warming up for his road race. stretching....
he did great. "i did not come in last this time mom!"
i came in 31st place.
and happened to be the first woman to cross the finish. yes, that makes two trophies in a month. must have been my awesome cheering squad.
the best part, i was this guy's hero for a few days.
