more from the past week...

congrats jenn!

i can not put these pics in order...but here are pics from our trip to albany to celebrate jenn's graduation!

poor little hams

pre-doctor. not happy with mom for waking them up.

after three shots and an oral vaccine, ben found comfort in this position. yes, it was as weird as this camera angle. again, boppy pillows are the best.

jack found his comfort in a semi-awake trance in the stroller. walking. constantly. in 90-degree humidity.

they were back to their usual chipper selves this morning after a restful night for all of us.

baby weights

ben is in 50th percentile at a whopping 11 lb and 13 oz (+2.10) and jack is 25th percentile at 10 lb and 12 oz (+3.3).

doctor was initially startled when he saw how good-lookin' they are! but he quickly regained his composure and said they are doing great. next trick should be "social smiles (not just for mom)."

i am not as gentle as i look here. i got banished from the bed for poking ben's head after only 5 seconds up here...

after a loooong bout of constipation/wide-awakeness, jack finally pooped and promptly fell into slumber on his favorite toy. was just an added bonus that ben was already sleeping!

(he did not poop on his toy, just slept)

two months!

i really can not believe these little guys are two months old today. wasn't i was pregnant for 5 years? now time is flying again!

three words to describe these guys...

jack: fiesty, tiny & sweet.

and ben: chubby, cheery & snoozy.

a(nother) day in the life.

gosh, babies do not do much.

this is ben's favorite activity

and this is typical jack. they are getting less "boring" and starting to smile at me and make funny noises all the time. i tried to teach ben how to scream but mommy said "NO!"

on friday mom had "max day" and we went to one of my favorite places in boston: the fountains!! then we went to my favorite (mom's least favorite) playground and had "chicken-and-rice" from quincy market. and on the way home, she bought me a whoppie pie in the north end. my mom is the best!
