i kid, i kid. he is fine most of the time. like when he is eating or sleeping or being snuggled every single minute of the day.

but really. what is the problem here? i'm praying he gets ten teeth at once because i assume this is part of the third tooth teething process.

the ecotarium is so fun

it is part museum...

 part playspace...

 part outdoor fun...

..and has a train that rides around the park!

bonus: three kids slept the 30 minute ride home!

beach

we lived in boston for three years and rarely went to the beach. i have no idea why because it is going to be great fun one day when we are not running all over corraling these guys fun and only about half an hour away. sunday we were at crane beach for low tide and it was a crowded blast!

 these two had fun splashing and playing like dolphins. actually sharks, because matt says sharks are cooler. matt played in the surf with a couple of john deeres and ben squealed at the breaking waves for two hours.

this one ran. all over. over towels and over people and flung sand at everyone. and would not wear his hat. he now has a pink scalp and i still can not get the sunscreen out of his hair....jack is a fiesty guy. love him!

 a long, hard walk to the car but a true success as all three were snoozing by the time we pulled out of the parking lot...gotta love summer.

good thing we have had lots of people around to help us beat the heat!

ben at 445am. thankfully big brother (and everyone else) was still snoozing.

 this boy loves him some chocolate. and cupcakes. and sprinkles.

 diaper free time made extra fun with a little push from devin. our boys miss these guys tons!!

matt making an awesome craft at the library. seriously, the library here is great! they offer different activities for all ages, so he was a bit challenged this day with the weaving. loved it.

ben was eating glue and jack was licking the scissors, so no other pictures. seriously, they were. and ben stole the glue and dripped it all over the stroller.

 burning off steam afterwards at matt's new school.

matt was having pzza and running with his buddy and ben was passed out in stroller. but for the joyful screaming, it was almost peaceful. 

yesterday=jack's first skinned knee. no tears. and today he skinned his elbow. no tears. tough as nails.

 sharing a crunchosaurus ice cream. no tears...it was a good time.

 eating jelly packets before lunch. reminds me of nicole. (seriously, ben reminds me of nicole as a kid. and as an adult.)

 this one almost got us kicked out. throwing everything, banging glasses, screeching, grabbing the chair behind him..reminds me of someone else as a kid.

 they are not slugs on his face. just mud. it is nice having our own outdoor space. does anyone not love summer?

 seriously. he covered them with mud. they were cute while they lasted...a whole ten minutes. but worth it for ben's fun!

he was trying to strangle J with a piece of broom string. (string? hay, whatever.)

 this one. too cute this month. he is into everything and goes 100 mile an hour. and wants to do it all himself.  and likes to ham it up with everyone. just don't pick him up :)

 maybe blondes do have more fun...

notice jack's 12 beautiful teeth! and the matching bite mark on ben's arm in last post...

ben still has only two teeth. even after the buckets of drool last week. must have been a sore throat from the latest sickness (pretty certain since it was passed along to mama. again.)

cars

so the bed was moved up this weekend. yes, we have a loft bed now. it is a much nicer place to spend his ten minute timeouts.

 he was just a little bit excited the first night.

 then we found an antique car show at a wonderful park up the road.

 heaven for this guy. until the heat forced a true meltdown and we left with a screamer.

 jack seems to be a mini car enthusiast. or he just mimics his big brother running from car to car and squealing.

 ben...not so much

 he seems most peaceful playing in the sand and at the koi pond.

 elm bank is a true gem in wellesley.
