all packed up and nowhere to go

after packing up sleepy babes for a walk to the park, someone had a meltdown about his boots and was offered a choice: nap or go outside.

for the first time ever:

 he later told me he feels like he has a little cold.

 maybe our first matty-mommy morning tuckered him out. warm drinks for the brisk walk to the museum of science...

 stopping only for a few puddles

we watched the 3D movie "Bugs!" and matty was all upset at why the butterflies were stuck together. not quite to explain they were making baby catepillars, he was told they were getting to know each other. this upset him so he demanded we leave. thankfully just before the praying mantis reproduction scene.
