and all of a sudden it is that wonderful time of the year! we anticpate big fun this year so last saturday we tuckered out the wee ones with a little ride
then we bundled up and went shopping for a tree!
you may remember a sad little boy last year ( http://mattywatcher.blogspot.com/2009/11/wilderness-adventures.html ), but daddy did not disappoint this year (not that we have room in our car).
boy was i excited.
then we snuggled in our new christmas jammies (thanks gigi), drank egg nog and apple cider and hung the ornaments!

and in between quite a bit of mischief and frolicking...
..mama claus finds time to shop.
(and now completely understands the pity/horror look people send her way)
