i love fall. we have birthdays and glorious weather and thanksgiving. and then christmas. you must know how excited i am to finally have stairs, right? but we know what's coming. remember this? ugh.
so we cram our weekends with outdoorsy fun: biking, hiking, pick-your-own farms, school fairs, town carnivals, running, puddle stomping...heck, we even got in a beach day at castle island last weekend courtesy of the 86-degree heat wave!
said beach day. blissful.
no suits. just diapers and undies and another family's toys.
we even hopscotch.
it's exhausting. and exhilarating. and we still have our annual trek to spooky-town (salem, ma in october is great), apple-picking, halloween and the big five year birthday bash! i even plan to bring the guys to boston for an 8:00am turnaround of the USS Constitution (ok, that's just a definite maybe on our list).
let's not forget school. another fabulous fall trait. these guys are taking music class and soon gymnastics.
this guy loves music. he will bust a move any time he hears music. anywhere. i will eventually post a video from a 5:00am footloose viewing. don't feel bad for him. he woke me up at 4:!5 that day.
jack takes a while to warm up. he will leave my lap when the parachute come out.
his moves aren't as fancy but just as cute.
and since most of matt's pictures lately look like this:
or this:
OR since his mad science class is a DROP-OFF (five is a great age), i will leave you of a picture of him trying to "get" the woodpecker. what a story!
fun fun times.
