in 16 days it will be Spring! we are having a party at a playground with flowers and balloons and little treats. seriously, we are. even if it is 30 degrees out. which is likely in these parts.
we did get a taste of warm weather during our way-too-short-for-amount-of-packing-and-travel trip to visit mema and cheetah in FL. we were greeted with a pizza party and they let me make my own!
(i did not pick my nose while making this. honest.)
and i was ready for the beach first thing in the morning. like half past crack of dawn early. thankfully the babies did not sleep in. (i just laughed out loud typing that.)
ahhh, the sun...80 degrees...ahhhh
it was awesome!
except that jack brought down a vicious cold so our dreams of dried up noses, cold beers on the beach and three kids so drunk on salty air and sunshine that they sleep all night long did not materialize. especially when ben and mom were taken out on day 2. (we are still recovering....ugh.)
i managed to work around the endless snot and fevers and extra clingy brothers who did not sleep more than a couple hours straight-the whole time-and had a BLAST!

ben was fine so long as he was not touching sand, was being snuggled constantly and eating mum mums.
he also likes going out to lunch on the water.
they mostly wanted only mom or dad. with absolutely no parts touching sand or blanket or water. they didn't even like the pool...weird babies.

but they managed to pass them off on the beach for a few minutes here and there to grandparents who sadly did not get to meet their true personalities. i swear, they do not usually cry so much! (seriously, they don't. and they sleep like bunnies at home.)

thankfully everyone liked the water park so we went twice!
