who knew we would be happy to have three baby ride on toys?
while matty went to swim with dad, the little ones had their way with his room. like little tornadoes.
(cute tornadoes though, so it is ok.)
they love to crawl up on his bed and roll around. we average about one fall every day and a half. thankfully it is maybe a foot off the ground.
it was so nice and sunny, we all walked to the playground to practice playing for spring.
(actually, some of us walked, one just couldn't walk anymore. he did ride his bike the mile and a half to and from swim, and swam for an hour, so dad finally took pity and hoisted him onto his shoulders.)
miraculously, he found his second wind once we got there! he already has his spring hair cut. cute, huh?
ben walked all over with this nifty walker. after the beach a few weeks ago and a couple recent trips to playgrounds, i think the dislike of dirt and sand on his hands will propel him to start walking on his own.
thankfully he loves the swing.
this one was not as happy in the swing, he is quite active. he prefered to climb--all on his own--the playset. steps, tunnels, and mom had a ball watching dad running all around and under it to make sure he did not walk off a ledge.
eventually he (dad) tired of that game and down they went.
yes, we get a little crazy with the sun here. ben had fun on the slide despite the look of terror on his face! matty's been an awesome big brother lately.
jack played with the door to the little house for thirty minutes. open, close, open, close...whatever, at least he stayed in one spot.
i tried to get a picture of his four teeth. can you see them here?
even dad got tuckered out. after a rowdy game of police-car-and-bad-driver of course.
end result: ahhhhhhhh. we actually opended the windows and had a beer on the balcony. well, not really on the balcony, it was not that warm, but we were near the door.
i just realized we have a hundred pictures of matty sleeping, and only a few of jack and ben. i think it is the fear of waking them up...oh the memory of double newborn (lack of) sleeping.
at 11.85 months, we seem to have broken them (yes, finally) of middle-of-the-night feedings, snuggling and cuddling.

Awww...the Myrtle Street playground! We miss it! I remember Sarah playing with the door on that playhouse as well...open, close, open, close... :)
