happy mother's day!

(yes, it has taken me days to write this)

it was a happy mother's day weekend. hope everyone else had one too.

matty made me a necklace that is just gorgeous. this was on our way to the "mother's day/cinco de mayo" breakfast at school.

 we spent the weekend playfully wandering around boston and newburyport (my favorite beach town)

we also terrorized pigeons. ben and jack recently discovered themat the playground and spend lots of time watching them. thankfully the residents from the senior living next door keep an ample supply of nuts, popcorn, crumbs and water for them, so there are always a thousand or so of them.

 we usually watch from behind the fence.

 but their determination to touch one led me to unleash them into pigeon park.

boys had fun. pigeons, not so much.

thankfully we did not catch any, keeping my biggest mess this week the spilt bottle of moroccan oil all over my dresser.

and can't even blame it on a kid.
